Control the pour. Stop the waste. Thread-on tap for 2.6–6.6 gal jugs.
Free-pouring from 2.6, 5.3, or 6.6 gal jugs is slow, messy, and expensive. Glugging dumps product across floors and labels, ruins dilution accuracy, and exposes techs to splash. You lose ounces every transfer, then spend minutes wiping and rinsing. In a chemical room or on a jobsite, that adds up to slips, cleanup, and blown margins.
We formulate chemicals that demand precise mix ratios, so we built a simple answer: a rugged, chemical-resistant tap that threads onto standard jerrycans and delivers smooth, controlled flow. The positive shutoff lets you feather from a trickle to a full stream, stops clean to prevent drips, and seals tight between uses. With stable spout geometry, you can fill pitchers and proportioners without foam or splash, supporting consistent, repeatable batching.
Made in our 30,000 sq ft Pampa, Texas facility, every tap is QC’d alongside the chemistries it supports. We can kit and white-label to match your program - brand the cap, the carton, or bundle with your concentrates - so your operators see one system under your name. One source, one dock, your label.
- Threads onto common 2.6, 5.3, and 6.6 gal jerrycans for spill-controlled dispensing.
- Positive shutoff valve delivers clean stops and precise metering into pitchers or tanks.
- Chemical‑resistant design for water‑based acids, alkalines, and detergents; solvent‑free systems.
- Reduces splash exposure and floor contamination in chemical rooms and mobile rigs.
- Supports repeatable dilutions by eliminating glugging and aeration during pours.
- White‑label ready with branded caps, cartons, and kitting alongside your concentrates.
Preparation: Keep container upright on a stable surface. Remove the factory cap and inspect threads for debris. Thread the tap onto the opening and hand‑tighten until the gasket seats. Position the spout downward. Ensure the container can vent; if needed, crack a secondary cap slightly to prevent glugging.
Dispensing: Place a graduated pitcher, measuring cup, or proportioner inlet under the spout. Open the valve slowly to start flow, then adjust to the desired rate. Dispense only the volume required for your target dilution. For most detergents and sealers, mix with cold or warm water (60–80°F) unless your product specifies otherwise. Close the valve firmly to stop flow and wipe any residual drips.
Notes: Do not use with strong solvents, strong oxidizers, fuels, or liquids above 120°F. Always verify chemical compatibility with your product’s SDS and test before broad deployment. Store the container upright with the tap closed between uses.
- Up to 70% less product loss versus free‑pouring from open jugs.
- 20–40% faster batch make‑up time per proportioner or drum fill.
- Dilution variance tightened to within ±1–2 oz per gallon transfers.
- 30–50% fewer cleanup events from splash and floor contamination.
- 25–40% fewer recorded splash incidents per shift in chemical rooms.
Distributors stack margins on tools you use every day. Buying factory‑direct from SaraWest removes the middle layer and aligns the accessory with the chemistry it supports. Our team has nearly 40 years in formulation, so the tap isn’t an afterthought - it’s built to protect mix accuracy and worker safety. Manufactured in Pampa, Texas, we control QC, kitting, and private label under one roof. That delivers consistent supply, honest lead times, and a cleaner pour that pays back in reduced waste and tighter batching.
