Raw edges are where amateur work shows. Finish them right.
A beautifully dyed and stitched leather piece with rough, unfinished edges looks half-done. The edge is the first thing a buyer touches, and raw edges say 'hobby project' instead of 'professional craft.'
SaraWest EdgeSeal Finish is a high-gloss acrylic edge dressing that adds color and a polished shine to raw leather edges. The self-leveling formula fills minor imperfections and creates a smooth, professional result that stands up to flexing and abrasion.
16 colors let you match or contrast with any project, from classic black to clear.
- Self-leveling formula for smooth, even edges
- High-gloss acrylic that resists flexing and abrasion
- 16 colors including clear
- Available in 4 oz, 32 oz, and 1 gallon
- Professional-looking edges in minutes
Bevel and sand the edge smooth. Apply EdgeSeal Finish with a dauber or edge applicator in thin, even coats. Allow to dry between coats. 2-3 coats typically gives the best result.
For the smoothest finish, burnish lightly between coats.
- Smooth, glossy edges that look professional
- Color that matches or complements the project
- Durable edge that resists handling and wear
- Self-leveling fill of minor imperfections
Water-based edge paints take too many coats and chip easily. Wax burnishing takes skill and time. SaraWest EdgeSeal Finish gives you the glossy durability of acrylic with a self-leveling formula that makes even beginners look good - in two or three coats instead of ten.
