Typical use cases
- 01Tunnel washes in hard-water markets
- 02Self-serve bays needing spot control
- 03In-bay automatics with limited dryer horsepower
Kill hard-water spots at the exit arch.
Operators don’t get judged on your presoaks or polymers - customers judge you by glass and black paint at the exit. Hard water lifts your TDS score, blowers can’t overcome poor water break, and you burn labor on towel touch-ups. In self-serve and high-throughput tunnels, spotting means rewash claims, slower lines, and chemical waste chasing a finish you can’t repeat day to day.
SpotFree Final Rinse fixes the last 60 seconds of the wash. Our blend of rinse polymers, non-ionic surfactants, and powerful sequestrants collapses surface tension and ties up calcium/magnesium so water sheets cleanly and leaves less behind. You get rapid water break on glass, faster blower passes, and fewer residues on paint. It runs lean, stays low-foam, and behaves in RO, city, or well water - even in hard-water markets and reclaim environments. Equipment-safe at use dilutions and stable from 40-120°F, it meters reliably through hydrominders or direct injection.
Formulated and manufactured in our 30,000 sq ft plant in Pampa, Texas, SpotFree is backed by nearly 40 years of formulation and batch QC. We white-label at scale - your label, your spec, consistent lot-to-lot. Need a specific dye, strength target, or water-hardness profile? We build it. Available in 5 gal pails, 55 gal drums, and 275 gal totes for programs that value predictable performance and clean economics.
- Engineered sequestrants minimize calcium and magnesium spotting at high TDS.
- High dilution economy: effective from 1:200 to 1:800, lowering cost per car.
- Rapid water break creates tight sheeting for faster blower passes and drier glass.
- Low-foam, reclaim friendly formula won’t carry suds into dryers or separators.
- Equipment safe: non-corrosive to stainless, pumps, and poly lines at use dilutions.
Use as the final-rinse sheeting aid through a dedicated arch or manifold. Meter via hydrominder, venturi, or pump injection into the final rinse line. Do not combine in the same tank with waxes or sealants.
Tunnels: Start at 1:300 (0.33%) in city water. In hard water above ~15 grains, increase toward 1:200. With RO final rinse, run leaner at 1:600-1:800. Target complete water break on glass within 3-5 seconds before the dryers. No dwell needed - apply and proceed directly to blowers.
In-bay automatic and self-serve: Tip for 1:300-1:600 through the final-rinse pass. Typical usage ranges 0.3-1.0 oz concentrate per vehicle depending on hardness and vehicle size.
Temperature: Effective from 40-120°F feed water. Use a dedicated tank or pickup; do not mix the concentrate with strong acids, alkalis, or cationics. Safe on clearcoat, glass, plastics, and stainless at use dilutions.
- 20-40% fewer visible water spots versus water-only final rinse
- 3-5 seconds faster blower dry time on typical sedans
- 25-50% reduction in towel touch-up labor at exit
- 15-30% fewer rewash claims related to spotting
- Up to 10% less water carry-off on glass and mirrors
Buying factory-direct means you stop paying distributor markups for rinse aid chemistry. SaraWest formulates and manufactures in-house, so you get tighter control of actives, consistent batches, and honest cost-per-car. Our Pampa, Texas facility builds to your water profile and delivery method, then fills in pails, drums, or totes with your brand on the label. Fewer middlemen, shorter lead times, and a rinse that performs the same every shift are why operators standardize on our line.
