Carnauba wax emulsions, made in Texas.
Nonionic, anionic and cationic carnauba emulsions in T1 and T3 grades for coatings, polishes, inks, car care and semiconductor mold release. Tell us what you buy today and we benchmark it.
Already buying from someone else?
Most buyers come to us with a product in hand. Name it and we tell you honestly whether we can match it, and what would differ.
Brand names are used only to describe what buyers tell us they use. SaraWest is not affiliated with these companies.
Six configurations
25% Nonionic Carnauba Wax Emulsion
The general-purpose workhorse. Nonionic emulsifiers make it the most forgiving to blend into waterborne coatings, polishes and inks across a wide pH window.
View configuration →25% Anionic Carnauba Wax Emulsion
Built for anionic acrylic and polyurethane dispersions, where slip, rub resistance and water beading are the goal.
View configuration →25% Cationic Carnauba Wax Emulsion
Positively charged particles that are drawn to negatively charged surfaces such as fibers and painted clear coats.
View configuration →40% Nonionic Carnauba Wax Emulsion
A high-solids concentrate for buyers who dilute on site. Less water shipped per pound of wax, fewer drums on the floor.
View configuration →T1 (Type 1) Carnauba Wax Emulsion
Made from Type 1 prime yellow carnauba, the lightest color grade. Chosen where clarity and low color in the dried film matter.
View configuration →T3 (Type 3) Carnauba Wax Emulsion
Made from Type 3 carnauba, a darker, more economical grade. The right choice for industrial uses where film color does not matter.
View configuration →Mold release for epoxy molding compounds.
Carnauba is a long-established internal mold-release wax in epoxy molding compounds used to encapsulate ICs, BGAs and other packages. If you formulate EMC or encapsulants, we review your purity, ionic-content and documentation requirements before any sample is made.
- Grade selection for release performance
- Ionic-content and purity requirements reviewed up front
- Lot traceability and COA per batch
- NDA available before sharing formulations

How switching works
Tell us what you buy
Name the product you use today and share its TDS if you have it.
We benchmark it
Our chemists match solids, charge and wax grade, then confirm what can be matched.
Evaluate a lab batch
Run it in your system next to your current material, under written terms.
Scale domestically
Pails, drums or totes from Pampa, Texas, with a COA on every batch.
Documentation
pH, particle size, viscosity and melt point are confirmed per batch on the TDS and COA.
