Make water quit clinging so your dryers can do their job faster.
Drying is where tunnels bottleneck. Water that clings means longer blower time, hot motors, and cars lingering at the end of the line while spots form. Hard water only makes it worse - streaks, shadows, and extra towel touches. You feel it in rewash rates, energy bills, and a crew mopping up what chemistry should have handled.
RapidDry Rinse Aid fixes that with a fast-breaking surfactant system that forces tight beading and clean sheeting. It collapses surface tension in the final rinse, so water evacuates panels and glass before the first blast of air. Low-foam, blower-friendly, and stable in hard water, it runs clean through metering systems and doesn’t load your rinse manifolds. Operators get predictable dosing, consistent panels, and less noise from the end of the tunnel.
Formulated and batched in our 30,000 sq ft plant in Pampa, Texas, RapidDry is backed by nearly 40 years of formulation work for demanding washes across the country. We build it to run private-label from day one - your brand, your label, our process control - filled in pails, drums, or totes with the same QC the majors expect.
- Fast water break and sheeting tuned for tunnel and in‑bay automatics.
- Hard‑water stable formula keeps panels clean without re‑deposition streaks.
- Low‑foam profile that plays nice with blowers and rinse manifolds.
- Tight process control for consistent dosing and repeatable field results.
- Private‑label ready with pail, drum, and tote fills at scale.
Tunnel final rinse arch: Inject RapidDry at 400-800:1 into the final rinse. Target 0.5-1.5 oz per vehicle depending on water quality, body styles, and blower power. Aim for 5-10 seconds of contact before air. Do not allow product to contact untreated painted walls or floors in high concentrations.
In‑bay automatic and rollover: Dose at 300-600:1 as a dedicated rinse‑aid step. For sites without RO, start richer and trim back until consistent beading and clean glass are achieved.
Self‑serve/fleet bays: Downstream inject at 0.1-0.3% into the final rinse. Apply evenly, minimize dwell, then move directly to air or spot‑free rinse.
Water and temperature: Works in 40-120°F feed water. Softer or RO water maximizes sheeting, but the formula compensates in hard water. Increase dilution 10-20% for very hard water or complex body geometry. Keep separate from detergents; do not premix with soaps or waxes.
- 10-25% reduction in blower run time per vehicle
- 15-30% lower dryer amp‑hours during peak periods
- 20-40% fewer visible water spots on post‑dry inspections
- 1-2 more cars per hour from faster end‑of‑line clearing
- 30-60% fewer towel touches at finish stations
Distributors add layers of margin and slow the feedback loop. We formulate and fill in Pampa, TX, so you get factory‑direct pricing, tighter QC, and faster iterations. RapidDry carries the depth you expect from a national brand without the markup: consistent actives, hard‑water stability, and low‑foam behavior that protects blower efficiency.
