Fast, hard beading for high‑throughput tunnels without ceramic cost or slowdown.

Throughput is money. When protectants slow a tunnel, streak on glass, or need heavy dosing, the back-up hits your pay window. Ceramic top-coats look great but can be overkill for volume sites. You need instant water break, reliable slickness, and a stable finish that doesn’t choke reclaim or demand a long dry zone.

RainBead Express Protectant solves the bottleneck. This fast-acting hydrophobe blend lays down immediate beading and slickness at low use rates. The polymer-siloxane system is engineered to flash quickly, shed water under blowers, and stay compatible with hard water and reclaim. It runs clean through low-pressure arches, resists streaking on plastics and trim, and plays well with modern drying agents. You get ceramic-like beading without ceramic cost or dwell time.

Formulated and filled in our 30,000 sq ft facility in Pampa, Texas, RainBead is built with tight QC and batch traceability, backed by nearly 40 years of formulation experience. We offer fast turns in pails, drums, and totes, plus true white-label support - custom dye, fragrance, and packaging, and compliant label files ready for your brand.

    • Fast-flash hydrophobes deliver instant beading with minimal dwell and blower time.
    • Optimized for high-throughput tunnels and reclaim systems without gumming or film.
    • Hard-water tolerant; consistent results across wide municipal water conditions.
    • Low use rate targets 0.5-1.5 oz per vehicle via low-pressure arches.
    • Ceramic-like gloss and beading at a lower per-car chemical cost.
    • Clean-rinsing formula minimizes glass smearing and trim staining when applied correctly.

Tunnel application: Apply via low-pressure arch after main rinse and before final RO/sheeting rinse. Target 0.5-1.5 oz per vehicle. Set chemical feed to achieve roughly 100:1 to 300:1 at the nozzle, depending on water hardness and blower capacity. Allow 15-30 seconds contact time, then follow with a light RO or spot-free rinse to activate beading and move water before the dryers.

In-bay automatic: Inject through the protectant stage at 128:1-256:1. Apply to a freshly rinsed, wet surface, allow brief dwell, then perform a final rinse and dry cycle.

Hand-spray/fleet lanes: Dilute 1:128-1:256 in a pump sprayer or low-pressure applicator. Mist onto wet panels from the top down, wait 30 seconds, then pressure rinse and dry.

Temperature and surface guidance: Ideal water 60-120°F. Use above 40°F surface temperature. Avoid applying to hot panels above 140°F. To minimize wiper chatter, avoid direct, heavy application to windshields; a light pass is sufficient. Compatible with most drying agents; do not premix chemistries in the same tank.

    • Achieves greater than 95° water contact angle on clearcoat within 60 seconds
    • Shortens tunnel dry zone by 5-15 feet at the same line speed
    • One gallon of concentrate treats approximately 100-200 vehicles via low-pressure arch
    • Maintains beading through 7-10 days or 2-3 typical washes
    • Reduces manual towel touches in finishing by approximately 30-50%

Factory-direct beats layered distributor markups and slow relabeling. With SaraWest, you get formulation depth from nearly four decades in professional wash chemistry, not a rebottled commodity. We build RainBead in Pampa, Texas, with tight QC, traceable batches, and consistent supply in pails, drums, and totes. That means predictable performance, faster lead times, and a cleaner cost structure - plus true white-label options so your brand, not your supplier’s, is front and center.
