Reset surface pH fast after caustic work - leave substrates ready for coating.
High-alkaline cleaners and strippers do their job, then leave you with a new problem: elevated surface pH that wrecks adhesion, flashes coatings, and triggers callbacks. Rinsing with water alone rarely pulls pH down into the safe zone. Crews waste hours re-washing, guessing with litmus strips, and hoping primers stick. Schedule slips. Margins erode. Owners blame the contractor when the coating blisters.
Neutralize 15 closes that gap with a buffered, surfactant-assisted acid system formulated to drive pH back toward neutral quickly and predictably. It wets dense substrates, penetrates residues, and collapses alkalinity so primers and sealers bite as designed. Use it after caustic degreasers, heavy-duty cleaners, or paint strippers on concrete, masonry, steel prep, and equipment bases. It rinses clean, leaves no filming residue, and gives you verifiable pH control before you coat, seal, or hand the area back to operations.
Formulated and filled in our 30,000 sq ft Pampa, Texas plant, backed by nearly 40 years of formulation work. We private-label to spec - your brand, your label, optional dye for visual coverage, and bulk options to fit your route or crew model. Contract and white-label programs mean you control margin while we handle the chemistry.
- Buffered acid blend knocks down high pH fast without sticky residues.
- Surfactant package improves wet-out on dense concrete and masonry pores.
- Predictable pH drop enables reliable coating windows and fewer callbacks.
- Rinses clean; no film that can interfere with primers or sealers.
- Works across temperature swings common on outdoor and plant floors.
- Private-label ready with dye, scent, and label customization options.
Preparation: Rinse and remove spent alkaline cleaner or stripper and loose residues. Work in shade when possible. Ideal surface temperature: 40–95°F.
Dilution: For heavy alkalinity or after strong strippers, dilute 1:3 to 1:5 with water (32–26 oz per gallon). For routine post-clean neutralization, dilute 1:8 to 1:10 (16–13 oz per gallon). Always test a small area first.
Application: Apply by pump sprayer, mop, or low-pressure foamer. Saturate the surface without flooding drains. Allow 3–5 minutes dwell, keeping the area wet. Agitate with a deck brush on textured or porous substrates.
Rinse and verify: Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Check surface and rinse water with pH test strips. Target pH is 6–8. Repeat application if pH remains high. Allow the surface to dry per coating manufacturer guidance before priming or sealing.
Compatibility: Safe on most concrete, masonry, and many metals when used as directed. Avoid use on acid-sensitive stone (marble, limestone), fresh uncured concrete, and soft metals without testing. Do not allow product to dry on glass or anodized aluminum; rinse promptly.
- Reduces post-clean surface pH from >11 to roughly 6–8 in one to two passes.
- Cuts neutralization time by up to 50% versus water rinse alone.
- Improves coating adhesion consistency across large slabs and verticals.
- Removes alkaline haze and efflorescent residues that impede primers.
- Delivers verifiable pH readings suitable for coating manufacturer specs.
Factory-direct means your dollars go to chemistry, not distributor layers. We formulate Neutralize 15 for predictable pH control, not shelf appeal. You get application-driven solids and surfactants, tested on real substrates, filled in Pampa, Texas. Private-label options let you own the margin and the brand while we handle compliance, batching, and QC. Transparent lead times, bulk packaging, and technical docs keep projects moving without guesswork.
