Prep: Isolate electrical as needed. Ventilate the pit. Remove loose debris and lower standing water to expose walls and floor. Wear appropriate PPE.
Dilution: For heavy buildup or first service, dilute 1:1 to 1:4 with water. For ongoing maintenance, dilute 1:5 to 1:10. Apply by low‑pressure sprayer or pour and spread to wet all surfaces; low‑foam by design.
Dwell and agitation: Allow 15-30 minutes dwell. Keep surfaces wet during dwell. Agitate with a deck brush or pole brush to break compacted sludge and biofilm.
Temperature: Works in ambient conditions; performance improves with warm water. Use 90-120°F rinse where available. Avoid application below 40°F.
Rinse and recovery: Rinse thoroughly with fresh water, directing effluent to the pit and then to the oil‑water interceptor per local regulations. If connected to reclaim, monitor turbidity and clean screens/filters after use. Do not mix with acids, bleach, or oxidizers. Safe on concrete, epoxy, and coated metals; limit contact with bare aluminum and rinse promptly.
