Melt cement, lime, and grout haze fast - without chewing up brick, block, or tools.
Alkaline construction residues don’t respect schedules. Lime blooms creep down fresh facades. Grout haze turns a clean tile job cloudy. Cement film locks onto forms and tools. Crews waste hours scrubbing or blasting, only to etch delicate surfaces or leave ghosting that the punch list catches later. General acids either fume, flash, or underperform, forcing extra passes and more downtime.
SaraWest Cement and Lime Dissolver is a focused acidic system built to break calcium carbonate and cementitious binders quickly, then rinse clean. Wetting agents drive it into mineral deposits while inhibitors help protect common substrates and metals during short dwell times. It cuts mortar splashes, concrete film, grout haze, and lime runs on brick, block, concrete, ceramic tile, and site equipment. Use concentrated for heavy buildup or dilute for haze and films. Clear reaction cues help you stop at clean without overexposure.
Formulated and filled in our 30,000 sq ft facility in Pampa, Texas, this is contract-grade chemistry with forty years of formulation know‑how behind it. We private-label to your spec - concentration, color, packaging, and compliance docs - so your brand carries the performance. Consistent batches, fast turns, and pallets that land ready for your network.
- Focused acid system dissolves cementitious residues faster than generic brick cleaners.
- Wetting and inhibitors balance bite with short-term substrate and metal protection.
- Rinses clear with minimal passes, reducing water use and cleanup time.
- High concentration trims freight and storage; dilute to task on site.
- Clear visual reaction window improves control and reduces over-etch risk.
PPE required: acid-resistant gloves, goggles, and protective clothing. Work in ventilated areas. Do not mix with bleach or alkalis.
Surface prep: Remove loose debris. Cool surfaces below 90°F. Pre-wet porous masonry with clean water; leave damp, not dripping.
Dilution guidance: Heavy cement/mortar buildup - use neat or 1:1 with water. Moderate residue and lime runs - 1:3. Grout haze and light films - 1:5 to 1:10. Always test a small area first.
Application: Apply by acid-resistant sprayer, brush, or low-pressure foamer from the bottom up on verticals. Allow 2–5 minutes dwell; do not let dry. Agitate with a nylon brush on stubborn spots. Extend dwell in cool weather; shorten on warm days. Ideal application temperature is 40–90°F and out of direct sun.
Rinse: Flush thoroughly with copious water until foaming/reaction stops. Neutralize runoff where required by site protocol. Repeat if needed rather than forcing longer dwell.
Compatibility: Safe for brick, block, concrete, quarry/porcelain tile, and most tools when used as directed. Avoid polished or acid-sensitive stone (marble, limestone, travertine), aluminum, zinc, and galvanized surfaces. Minimize contact time on bare steel and glass; rinse promptly.
- Removes visible grout haze to a uniform finish in under 10 minutes.
- Cuts post-install cleanup labor by one to two passes on typical masonry.
- Reduces rinse water usage by up to 30% versus commodity acids.
- Lowers rework calls from etching or whitening on tested substrates.
- Frees concrete splatter from tools and forms on the first application.
