Touchless lanes live or die on chemistry and water pressure. When the soap is weak, road film hangs on, bugs smear, foam collapses in hard water, and you burn time and cost on rewashes. Winter salt, diesel haze, and limited dwell windows make it worse. Operators need a detergent that bites fast, clings where it should, breaks clean on rinse, and stays predictable across changing water temps and hardness.
SaraWest Touchless Active was built for that job. It’s a high-alkaline, hard-water-tolerant blend with chelators, wetting agents, and solvent boosters tuned to break static film without brush contact. It lays a stable visual on conveyors yet releases quickly so rinses are faster and spotting is reduced. Works hot or cold, injects consistently through Hydrominders, venturis, or peristaltic pumps, and plays well as a single-step touchless or the alkaline half of a two-step system.

Single-step touchless presoak: Apply through low-pressure foam or spray arch. Target 1:60-1:100 at the nozzle for normal soil. For heavy road film, winter salt, or hard water, increase strength to 1:30-1:60. Allow 30-60 seconds of dwell; do not let product dry. Rinse thoroughly with high-pressure fresh water.
Two-step process: Apply a low-pH presoak first, then follow with Touchless Active at 1:80-1:120. Allow 20-40 seconds dwell between steps as conditions allow, keeping surfaces wet. Rinse thoroughly. Avoid use on hot panels or in direct sun.
Temperature and equipment: Works cold, but optimal action is with 100-140°F feed. Compatible with Hydrominders, venturi injectors, and peristaltic pumps. Calibrate draw to achieve target nozzle ratios; verify with titration. Avoid prolonged contact with bare or polished aluminum; test sensitive finishes in an inconspicuous area. Not intended for hand washing.
