SaltGuard Winter Pre Soak hits chloride-laden films with a targeted chelation and surfactant system that breaks ionic bonds, wets fast in cold water, and lifts residue for a clean rinse. Tunnel and IBA pre-soak: Inject at 1:30-1:60 for heavy winter soils; 1:60-1:90 for moderate film. Apply evenly to front fascia, rocker panels, wheels, glass, and rear decks.
Fleet and prep gun: Pump-spray at 1:20-1:40 on concentrated brine build, especially lower panels and underbodies.
Dwell: 30-60 seconds. Do not allow to dry. Follow with high-pressure rinse. For touchless, run as the first pass before your alkaline or neutral detergent.
Water temperature: Works from 35°F to 120°F. Warm water (90-120°F) speeds lift in extreme build-up. Avoid application to hot surfaces; cool vehicle surfaces below 120°F.
Equipment notes: Compatible with most tunnel and IBA metering systems, foamers, and underbody manifolds. Safe on painted finishes, clear coat, plastics, and aluminum when diluted as directed. Rinse equipment after use in freezing conditions to prevent crystallized residue at nozzles.
