MineralBreak is our low pH pre-soak engineered to attack the side of the soil load alkali misses. It targets calcium and magnesium scale, salt residue, and ferrous particulates so the alkaline step can finish the job. Rapid wet-out, controlled foam, and corrosion inhibitors help protect finishes while improving rinse-off. Works in tunnels, in-bay automatics, and as a prep gun assist. Two-step tunnel (acid first): Apply MineralBreak via low-pressure arch as the first step. Start at 1:60-1:100 (product:water) depending on soil load and water hardness. Target even coverage from rocker to roofline. Allow 20-60 seconds dwell; do not let dry. Immediately follow with the alkaline step, then high-pressure rinse.
In-bay automatic: Meter through the pre-soak manifold at 1:60-1:90. Use a short dwell window and proceed directly to the alkaline cycle. Verify runoff is free-rinsing before drying agents are applied.
Prep gun / wheels and lower panels: For heavy mineral film and brake dust, 1:20-1:40 via pump sprayer or foam gun. Short dwell (up to 45 seconds), then rinse or send into the alkaline step. Avoid use on raw or polished aluminum; test first.
General: Effective in 40-120°F water. Softer water improves performance. Never mix with bleach or chlorinated products. Do not allow to dry on surfaces. Use appropriate PPE and follow facility containment and neutralization practices.
