Break gum bonds fast, without gouging your surface.

Gum doesn’t just stick; it welds itself into concrete pores, grout lines, and textured flooring. Crews burn minutes per spot, prying and scraping, risking gouges on coated floors and polished stone. Steamers are slow and messy; harsh citrus or fuel-like solvents smear, leave slick residue, and stink up occupied spaces. Meanwhile, foot traffic stacks up and your team falls behind on higher-priority work.

SaraWest Gum Release answers with a solvent-accelerated surfactant system that targets the elastomeric matrix of chewing gum. It penetrates the bond, softens the mass, and releases adhesive residues so the deposit lifts cleanly. Viscosity is tuned to cling to verticals and textured surfaces, reducing runoff and waste. Low-odor and non-chlorinated, it’s built for schools, transit platforms, and retail corridors where people can’t be pushed out for long. Ready-to-use and fast-rinsing, it restores true surface friction after cleanup.

Formulated and filled in our 30,000 sq ft facility in Pampa, Texas, backed by nearly 40 years of compounding know-how. Batch control and QC are standard. We white-label quickly - your artwork, compliant copy, and blind shipping handled in-house. Available in 16.9 oz, 33.8 oz, and 1.3 gal fills; bulk programs by request for distributors and contractors.

Use undiluted. Test in an inconspicuous area for surface compatibility. Remove loose debris. Apply enough Gum Release to fully wet the deposit. On vertical or textured surfaces, apply in small controlled amounts to limit runoff.

Allow 1–3 minutes of dwell. In colder conditions (below 50°F), extend dwell to 5–10 minutes. Do not allow product to dry; reapply lightly if needed. Agitate with a scraper or stiff nylon brush to lift softened gum. Wipe or blot. Rinse the area with water or a neutral cleaner to remove residuals and restore traction. For porous concrete, a second light application followed by blotting with an absorbent pad may speed extraction. Hot-water rinse or extraction can further reduce staining.

Use on sealed concrete, ceramic tile, quarry tile, stainless steel, and most hard plastics when used as directed. Avoid natural rubber, asphalt, uncured paints, and unfinished wood. Always ventilate the work area and wear suitable PPE.

    • First-pass removal of most deposits in under 60 seconds.
    • Up to 70–90% less scraping force versus dry methods.
    • 30–50% fewer surface marring incidents during gum removal.
    • Average use rate 1–2 fl oz per gum spot.
    • 25–40% reduction in turnaround time for impacted zones.
