Shield Pigment Coat combines a uniform, pigmented finish with a sacrificial release layer in one water-based system. It rolls or sprays on concrete, CMU, brick, stucco, or sound paint, evens tone, and builds a breathable film engineered to release graffiti with hot water. When a wall is hit, wash with 160–190°F water at 1,500–2,500 psi, then spot recoat. The matte, low-glare finish looks consistent in public spaces and hides patchwork without locking in substrate moisture.

Surface prep: Pressure wash to remove chalk, dust, oils, and loose paint. Allow substrate to dry to the touch. Repair cracks and spalls. Mask adjacent finishes and signage.
Application: Stir thoroughly. Do not dilute. Apply by 3/8 in roller, low-pressure sprayer, or airless (0.017–0.021 in tip). Typical coverage is 200–350 sq ft per gal depending on porosity. Apply 2 thin coats on bare masonry; 1–2 coats over sound paint. Apply when surface and air are 50–90°F and rising; avoid hot, sun-heated substrates above 90°F. Recoat after 30–60 minutes; protect from rain for 12 hours. Full cure in 24 hours.
Graffiti removal: Use 160–190°F water at 1,500–2,500 psi with a fan tip at a low angle. Rinse until tag releases and water runs clear. Allow area to dry, then spot recoat to restore the sacrificial layer.
Cleanup and storage: Clean tools with water. Store sealed at 40–90°F. Not for floors, polished stone, glass, or metals. Always test on dense or previously coated substrates.
