Cuts stubborn pad-print inks fast without chewing up your equipment.
Operators lose good hours to dried, crosslinked pad-print inks that refuse to move. Changeovers drag. Wipes pile up. Aggressive commodity solvents haze parts, swell silicone pads, and etch fixtures. What should be routine press maintenance turns into rework and ghosting on the next run. The job isn’t hard, it’s unforgiving - and downtime is expensive.
SaraWest’s Pad Print Ink Remover is built for the solvency window pad printers actually need. It attacks common solvent- and UV-curable pad-print inks quickly, then releases so you can wipe clean without milky residue. Low-odor, controlled evaporation supports detail cleaning on clichés, ink cups, rings, mandrels, and fixtures. Material compatibility is prioritized: it’s effective on metal tooling and many production surfaces when used as directed, and it’s water-rinsable to finish clean.
Made in Pampa, Texas, inside our 30,000 sq ft plant with nearly 40 years of formulation and scale-up experience, this is industrial chemistry you can private label with confidence. We tune solvency strength, odor profile, and evaporation rate to your spec, and fill in 1.3 gal and 5 gal formats - or scale to drums - under your brand with traceable QC and repeatable batch performance.
- Balanced solvency window targets pad-print inks without overattacking common tooling.
- Controlled evaporation reduces haze and streaking for a cleaner, faster wipe-off.
- Low-odor, water-rinsable finish supports closed spaces and quick final rinses.
- Engineered for metal compatibility; cautious on sensitive plastics and elastomers.
- Factory-direct private label with tunable strength, aroma, and dry time.
- Consistent batch-to-batch performance backed by documented QC and traceability.
Use as supplied. Power down equipment. Wear appropriate PPE and ensure ventilation.
Manual wipe-down: Apply remover to a lint-free wipe or soft brush. Wet the inked area on clichés, ink cups, rings, mandrels, or fixtures. Allow 30 seconds to 3 minutes of dwell based on ink thickness, then agitate and wipe clean. Repeat as needed until residue is gone. Follow with a dry wipe; optional water rinse to finalize and reduce any film.
Parts soak: For small metal parts, place in a covered dip pan. Soak 5–15 minutes, brush to release ink, remove, and dry. Avoid prolonged contact with silicone pads or seals; wipe and dry them quickly if incidental contact occurs.
Compatibility and temperature: Safe for stainless and aluminum when used as directed. Always spot test on plastics, coatings, and elastomers; some materials (e.g., polycarbonate, ABS, acrylic) can stress-crack with strong solvents. Operate between 60–90°F. Do not heat or exceed 120°F. Keep away from ignition sources and follow your facility’s solvent handling procedures.
- Cut changeover labor time by 20–35% versus commodity cleaners.
- Reduce wipe count per cleanup by 25–40% on typical ink loads.
- Lower rework from ghosting or haze by 30% on validated lines.
- Extend tooling service life by reducing aggressive solvent exposure.
- Improve first-piece pass rates after changeover by 10–20%.
Buying factory-direct eliminates distributor layers and guesswork. You get a remover formulated specifically for pad-print realities, not a rebadged general solvent. Our Pampa, TX team blends, fills, and documents every batch for repeatability, then private-labels to your spec with sensible lead times. That means tighter cost control, consistent performance from lot to lot, and the ability to tune solvency and dry time to your substrates - without paying for features you don’t need.
