Pulls dye and marker ghosts when standard graffiti removers stall.
You’ve already hit it with your go-to remover and the ghosting won’t quit. Felt-tip, permanent marker, aniline and leather dyes sink into pores, telegraph through paint, and smear into bigger messes. Crews burn hours revisiting the same tags, tiptoeing around delicate finishes, and explaining why the halo won’t leave. Repaints eat budgets. Equipment sits idle while solvents flash off and dry the stain in place.
Marker Away is the targeted answer for dye-based graffiti. We engineered a balanced polar/non‑polar solvent system that penetrates marker resins and dye carriers, mobilizes them out of capillaries, and rinses clean without filming. Controlled evaporation keeps a wet edge long enough to work, even outdoors, while surfactants break the bond so stains lift instead of spreading. Ready-to-use, interior or exterior, it tackles glass, painted metal, powder coat, sealed masonry, and laminates without clouding clear coats when used as directed.
Formulated and filled in our 30,000 sq ft facility in Pampa, Texas, this chemistry reflects nearly 40 years of stain-control problem solving. We batch, QC, and package in-house for repeatable performance. White-label ready with fast turns and disciplined documentation - so your brand shows up as the specialist that removes what others leave behind.
- Targets dye systems most removers miss, including aniline and leather dyes.
- Balanced polar solvent package lifts resins without clouding clear coats.
- Controlled-evaporation window maintains a wet edge in outdoor conditions.
- Rinses residue-free to cut post-clean streaking and rework passes.
- Proven across glass, baked enamel, powder coat, sealed masonry, laminates.
- Ready-to-use formula eliminates dilution errors and performance drift.
Ready-to-use. Do not dilute. Wear appropriate PPE. Test in an inconspicuous spot to confirm substrate compatibility and dwell time.
Non-porous surfaces (glass, painted metal, powder coat, laminate): Apply liberally with a microfiber or chemical-resistant towel. Allow 30 seconds to 2 minutes dwell. Agitate with a soft nylon brush or pad as needed. Wipe to lift soils, then water-rinse or detergent-wash to remove residue. Do not allow product to dry on the surface.
Sealed masonry (sealed brick, sealed concrete, stone): Flood the area, work into the surface with a nylon brush, and allow 2–5 minutes dwell. Keep surface wet during dwell. Rinse thoroughly with low-to-moderate pressure water. Multiple passes may be required on deep dye shadows.
Temperature guidance: Ideal substrate temperature is 60–90°F. Below 45°F extend dwell and agitation. Above 95°F shorten dwell and re-wet as needed. On sensitive or fresh coatings, minimize dwell and rinse promptly.
- Typical marker removal in 1–3 minutes on non-porous substrates.
- 1–2 passes to clear felt-tip and ink on painted metal.
- 2–4 passes for full removal on sealed brick and concrete.
- Maintains workable wet edge for 2–5 minutes at 70–90°F.
- Rinse leaves no film, eliminating secondary wipe-down cycles.
Factory-direct means you stop paying distributor layers for commodity solvents that still leave ghosts. We build targeted dye-solubilizing systems, validate them on problem substrates, and back them with documentation your crews can trust. Made and filled in Pampa, Texas, every batch is controlled for solvency strength, evaporation profile, and rinseability. You get consistent chemistry, honest lead times, private-label support, and performance that cuts rework - without the markup and mystery.
