Project fit review
First, let’s see if we’re a fit.
We review every project against our manufacturing capabilities, commercial model and current production scope. If it fits, we will contact you with the appropriate next step.
Know before you inquire
Clear product. Realistic economics. Defined route to market. Readiness to fund the required work.
What does SaraWest manufacture?
Private-label, contract/toll and custom-formulated chemical products across cleaning, equine, leather and footwear, pet grooming, solar and selected specialty categories. Every project requires technical and commercial review.
What is the minimum order?
Custom manufacturing minimums: 1,000 units for bottles and 1-gallon jugs; 200 units for 5-gallon pails; 15 units for 55-gallon drums. Other formats and specialist requirements are confirmed in your quote.
How much label stock do I need to purchase?
Custom printed labels are purchased upfront in batches of 5,000 individual labels, including front and back. Labels are supplied on rolls for automatic application in our factory. We use what your production run needs and store the remainder for future orders, with no storage fee or time limit. If your artwork changes, SaraWest can recycle unused labels at your request. Each new batch is priced separately according to label size, material and finish. Final pricing follows container template, artwork and machine roll-specification review.
Do I need my own formula?
No. An existing SaraWest formula is generally the fastest and most economical route. We can also evaluate your production-ready formula, a benchmark product, customization or new development.
What does development cost?
Custom development is a paid service. Straightforward optimization may begin around $5,000; more involved projects commonly range from $15,000 to $30,000. Scope, testing, iterations and process development determine the quote.
Do I own a formula developed for me?
Under the standard model, SaraWest retains ownership of its formulas and manufacturing process. Exclusive technology transfer is separately negotiated, commonly at $50,000 per product. The written agreement controls; development fees do not automatically buy ownership.
Are samples free?
Qualified B2B evaluation samples commonly cost $100 to $200 plus shipping, depending on scope. Any credit against production will be stated in your proposal. Custom prototype development is quoted separately.
What will my finished product cost?
Formula, fill size, packaging, closure, label, quantity, testing and packing determine cost. Share your target retail price or B2B economics and sales channel. Freight is separate unless included in writing.
Can you source packaging?
We can source common bottles, jars, tins, jugs, pails, drums and closures, or assess customer-supplied components. Suitability and availability require confirmation. Stock packaging usually simplifies the launch.
Can you design labels?
Label design is available and has commonly been quoted at $500. Final scope, printing and any specialized review are confirmed separately.
Can we select a fragrance?
Stock options are generally the simplest route. Non-stock fragrances may increase MOQ, often to about 3,000 units, because ingredients must be bought in bulk. Final minimums depend on the project.
How long does production take?
Some approved existing-formula projects with available materials can move into production in roughly 2 to 4 weeks after approvals, artwork, materials, packaging and payment are complete. Custom programs may take 60 to 120 days or longer. Estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates.
What documentation is available?
SDS, TDS, COA and batch/quality documentation are provided as applicable. Product-specific testing, retailer requirements and third-party work are separately scoped.
Can you support disinfectant or other regulated claims?
Tell us the exact intended claims and sales markets before development. Regulatory requirements, testing, costs and eligibility are reviewed separately. Do not assume an existing registered product is available for your brand.
Can we sign an NDA?
Yes. Request an NDA before sharing proprietary formulas or confidential specifications. Please keep the initial brief non-confidential.
Where do products ship from?
SaraWest's facility in Pampa, Texas. Quotes generally exclude freight, pallets, export costs, duties and final delivery unless specifically included. The agreed shipping terms control.
Will SaraWest sell my product or secure retailers?
SaraWest is the formulation and manufacturing partner. Your business owns marketing, sales, distribution and commercialization. Consumer fulfillment is not a standard included service; any additional service requires written scope.
Guidance only. Your written proposal and agreement define final scope, pricing and terms.
